“James Vitale began his career in healthcare while living in Japan for several years in his 20s. It was there he studied the Japanese culture, language, martial arts, and acupuncture. Upon returning home, he pursued a degree in acupuncture at New York College of Health Professions and began treating various conditions at his clinic in Huntington. For the last 17 years, he has treated thousands of patients with conditions ranging from chronic pain and sports injuries, stress and anxiety, digestive health, allergies, and pediatrics. Vitale’s practice now focuses on fertility and pregnancy. His clinic is currently on call at Long Island IVF, performing acupuncture to patients before and after an IVF transfer. He is currently pioneering the use of laser acupuncture therapy for the treatment of infertility, the first of it’s kind on Long Island. He has a passion for teaching and has been an adjunct professor at two local acupuncture colleges for over 12 years. He has been organizing continuing education classes for acupuncturists over 15 years. He was a board member of the ASNY, the Acupuncture Society of New York from 2015-2017. Vitale is also a published author and speaker, writing articles for RESOLVE and NAJOM (North American Journal of Oriental Medicine) and has appeared on Channel 12 News and WPLJ Radio. His clinic regularly supports the local schools and communities with sponsorship, charities, and food drives.”
